The health center is a regional hospital network under municipal ownership in the Wetterau district and an academic teaching hospital of the Justus Liebig University of Giessen. Around 130,000 patients are treated annually on an outpatient and inpatient basis at six locations. With approximately 850 beds and approximately 2,000 employees, the health center is one of the largest hospital networks in the region.

We are an academic teaching hospital of the Justus Liebig University of Giessen. In this spirit, not only research projects but also rotation plans for rapid specialist training of employees are jointly developed and implemented at both locations. The tasks:

  • Care of neurological patients on an IMC ward / stroke unit and in the emergency room
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation with other departments (consultation services)

Qualifications:

  • Specialist doctor (f/m/d) or doctor (f/m/d) in training
  • Professional experience in the field of neurology (desirable but not required)
  • German license
  • Valid work and residence permit
  • Very good knowledge of German
  • Good computer skills (especially MS Office)
  • High level of professional and social competence, as well as a high level of empathy for the respective situation of the patients
  • Willingness and ability to work in an interdisciplinary manner
