Our hospital (372 system beds) is one of the largest district hospitals in the region with a focus on specialty areas. The Department of Neurology is a standard department according to ÖSG criteria with 2 stroke units, 2 phase B units, 4 phase C units and 22 acute neurological places, a general neurological outpatient clinic, several specialist outpatient clinics, as well as an EEG, ENG/EMG and neurosonography laboratory.

The Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapeutic Medicine has existed as a departmental psychiatry since 2009 and has 22 systemized beds, 2 of which are in the closed area (UbG). The department is responsible for inpatient, day-care and outpatient care in the East Tyrol region.
