The Lienz District Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in the region and currently provides care for the population of East Tyrol and Upper Carinthia with 372 beds and all major specialties.

Our hospital (372 system beds) is one of the largest district hospitals in Tyrol with a focus on specialty areas. There are the following departments: primary departments for general and visceral surgery, anesthesiology and intensive care medicine, gynecology and obstetrics, otolaryngology, internal medicine with physiotherapy and rehabilitation, neurology, pediatrics, trauma surgery, urology, psychiatry and psychotherapeutic medicine as well as the institutes for radiology and nuclear medicine. Orthopedics is a specialty area.

• Fulfillment of all requirements for entry in the Austrian medical register
• Authorization to independently carry out emergency medical services
• valid emergency medical diploma
