About the hospital

The health center is a regional hospital network under municipal ownership and an academic teaching hospital of the Justus Liebig University of Giessen. Around 130,000 patients are treated as outpatients and inpatients every year at six locations. With around 850 beds and around 2,000 employees, the health center is one of the largest hospital networks in the region.

Your tasks

• Support of the sleep laboratory and, if necessary, the home ventilation section
• Training and supervision of employees (f/m/d) and students (f/m/d) of the sleep laboratory
• Training of assistant doctors (f/m/d) in sleep medicine
• Active management/participation in projects for the further development of the clinic and the clinic network
• Integration into the clinical team and close cooperation with colleagues in technical and business terms
• Constructive cooperation with other clinics, hospitals and health care providers, especially the outpatient referring physicians

Requirements

• You are a licensed doctor (m/f/d)
• You have completed further training as a sleep medicine specialist (f/m/d) or somnologist (f/m/d) or have relevant experience in sleep medicine
• You have the German license
• In accordance with the key points paper for the verification of the German language skills required for professional practice in the academic health professions, a

• You have a valid work and residence permit
