Continuing education
There is a training authorization for internal medicine and gastroenterology in accordance with the training regulations of January 1, 2021.
The training period is 72 months:
- 36 months of inpatient basic training in the field of internal medicine (common trunk), including 6 months in emergency room,
- 36 months of training in gastroenterology, including 6 months in ICU
The Department of Internal Medicine II operates 30 gastroenterological/diabetological beds with a full range of gastroenterological diagnostic services (all endoscopic examinations including ERCP, EUS, small bowel diagnostics and gastroenterological functional diagnostics), 17 oncological beds and 6 palliative care beds.
At the same time, there is the possibility of completing further training as an emergency doctor and, in cooperation with our rescue service, acquiring the additional qualification of emergency physician.
In addition to general internal medicine, further training authorizations in internal medicine include gastroenterology, hematology and oncology.
The tasks:
Your duties typically include patient care, including inpatient, outpatient, and surgical assessment, diagnostics, treatment, and documentation. On-call duties are discussed within the medical staff.

Within the network of clinics, patients with all internal diseases are diagnosed and treated in the field of internal medicine both regionally and nationally. There is close interdisciplinary collaboration with many cooperation partners (heart centres, university hospitals, cancer centres, etc.).
The head physicians at the clinics have full authorisation for further training in internal medicine. The clinics also offer further training opportunities for subspecialisation in internal intensive care medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology and haematology/oncology. We are open to further specialisations.

To strengthen our team we are looking for a
Assistant doctor for paediatrics and adolescent medicine (m/f/d)
In addition to general paediatric care, our work focuses on patients with psychosomatic illnesses and behavioural disorders, in particular ADHD and neuropaediatrics/epileptology. Children and adolescents with surgical conditions are also treated in our clinic together with an experienced senior surgeon.
That's what we want from you:
- You are aiming for specialist training in paediatrics and adolescent medicine or are already at an advanced stage of training
- Commitment, ability to work in a team, dedication, sense of responsibility and a high degree of social competence
- Empathy, patient-orientated working methods and cooperative collaboration with other specialist areas
