The Hospital

The health center is a regional hospital network under municipal ownership in the Wetterau district and an academic teaching hospital of the Justus Liebig University of Giessen. Around 130,000 patients are treated annually on an outpatient and inpatient basis at six locations. With approximately 850 beds and approximately 2,000 employees, the health center is one of the largest hospital networks in the region.

The tasks:

• Integration into the clinical team; close cooperation with colleagues

• Independent learning and implementation of new skills
• Regular participation in the night and on-call services of the Department of Internal Medicine. Constructive cooperation with other clinics, hospitals and healthcare providers, especially with general practitioners.

Qualifications:

• You are a doctor (f/m/d) and are aiming for further training as a specialist (m/f/d) in internal medicine or general medicine
• Ideally, you have professional experience in clinical geriatrics
• You are willing to learn the entire spectrum of geriatrics
• You enjoy patient-oriented training
• Your working style is team- and goal-oriented and characterized by a sense of responsibility and social competence
• You are interested in the holistic medical care of multimorbid geriatric patients
• You enjoy continuously developing and redesigning the clinic's procedures and processes for the benefit of patients
• We require German approval
• You have a valid work and residence permit
