There is a training authorization for internal medicine and gastroenterology in accordance with the training regulations of January 1, 2021.

The training period is 72 months:

  • 36 months of inpatient basic training in the field of internal medicine (common trunk), including 6 months in emergency room,
  • 36 months of training in gastroenterology, including 6 months in ICU

The Department of Internal Medicine II operates 30 gastroenterological/diabetological beds with a full range of gastroenterological diagnostic services (all endoscopic examinations including ERCP, EUS, small bowel diagnostics and gastroenterological functional diagnostics), 17 oncological beds and 6 palliative care beds.

At the same time, there is the possibility of completing further training as an emergency doctor and, in cooperation with our rescue service, acquiring the additional qualification of emergency physician.

In addition to general internal medicine, further training authorizations in internal medicine include gastroenterology, hematology and oncology.

The tasks:

Your duties typically include patient care, including inpatient, outpatient, and surgical assessment, diagnostics, treatment, and documentation. On-call duties are discussed within the medical staff.

Doctor in further training (m/f/d) for the Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery Clinic

The clinic's range of services covers the entire spectrum of trauma surgery (with the exception of open spinal surgery) as well as endoprosthetics. Endoprosthetics of the hip, knee and shoulder joints, including replacement operations, is a speciality. The clinic has been certified as an endoprosthetics centre since 2013.
